Hello there! I'm Sharon.
I am the owner and “Leader of the Pack” of Paws Above The Rest. I started full time when I opened my Pet sitting and Dog Walking business January 1, 2008. I created this business to service those families who need to go away on business or pleasure and cannot take their pets with them. I take pride and pleasure in spending time with your pet to give him/her the attention they need while their family is away.

I provide a safe and comforting service by caring for your special pet as if they were my own. My promise is to provide your pet with incomparable one-on-one care and this friendly, responsible and reliable service will provide you with the peace of mind that your pet is receiving the love, attention and exercise that they deserve while you are away. My goal is to provide you with the ability to travel guilt-free knowing that your pet is safe and happy.

I finally found my passion and that was being around and caring for animals. I decided to add dog grooming to my services in 2011 and completed my training to become a certified dog groomer. I wanted to create something different than most groomers by scheduling individual appointments and not waiting in kennels so that every dog can have a less stressful experience. I don't consider my work as a job because I am able to do something I love and what I am most passionate about, which is providing love, attention and the best care for your pets. "I feel they are not just our pets; they are truly an extension of our families".

I've been a professional pet sitter since January 2008, but have been looking after pets my whole life. I am licensed, bonded & insured as well as Pet CPR trained and certified. I've worked in the pet service industry in Orange County for over 13 years and added my grooming spa in 2013.

At Paws Above The Rest Dog grooming I offer a different kind of dog grooming service. Your dog will have a unique grooming experience by being pampered in a less- stressful atmosphere. I do everything I can to make the experience a happy and comfortable one because it’s important not to add stress to your pet grooming experience. I also think it is important not only to make your pet smell & look great but to use only the best quality products that contribute to healthy skin and a healthy coat.

No matter where you’re headed or for how long, we’ve got your little (and not so little) ones covered—you can trust Paws Above the Rest to care for your pet (and your home) while you’re away. While you’re gone, Paws Above The Rest will come to your home and continue your pet’s routine while striving to provide the same thorough care that they get from you. Most of our dog parents prefer for us to come at least twice a day—morning and evening—which is normally when most dogs get their meals and walks. Our cat parents typically prefer one visit a day. You are free to adjust the schedule in any fashion that you would like. I want your pet to be comfortable and to stay as close to their normal routine. Or Check Out our Cat Boarding!

There is a reason why I chose the name "Paws Above the Rest", is because strive to we go above and beyond the many every and our goal is to provide a peaceful stress free atmosphere. We schedule by appointment only, no cages, no long waiting and you will see the true passion we have when you walk through our door, we put your pup 1st! I can honestly say that any dog would prefer being pampered and getting all of the attention, over being kept most of the day in a kennel with so many loud noises locked inside of kennels stacked one on top of the other, causing even more stress with many multiple dogs barking and kept much to long inside a confined metal enclosure. Remember, Our pets are part of our family.
